The University of South Carolina Upstate will be providing lodging for teams who are interested. The room rate this year is $17 per person, per night. Reminder to all teams this is a dorm room setting. Teams will need to bring with them the following items that will not be provided:

Bed linens

Toiletries, etc
•
Teams are responsible for any meals
not provided by the SE SWAT Conference

2010 17th Annual Swat Competition
Two Man Challenge
This event tests the physical endurance of a two man team to operate under field conditions to negotiate obstacles, and carry combat loads.
Officer Rescue
This event tests the team’s shooting skills with three tactical weapons while maneuvering to rescue an injured officer.
Hostage Rescue
This event tests the team’s ability to plan and execute an emergency assault during a hostage rescue scenario against armed adversaries using marking cartridges. The Hostage Rescue Event will challenge each team on building entry tactics and the safe rescue of a hostage(s). The object of this event is for the team to successfully rescue the hostage(s) without sustaining any hits to the team members.
Pistol Shoot Off
This event tests the team’s shooting skills with a duty handgun in a team against team competition.
Clear and Advance
This event simulates an Active Shooter/Rescue Operation
Southeastern Mystery Event
No information will be provided until the day of the event!
Rescue
This year no rappelling will be required! Teams will be challenged with the Obstacle Course and rescues during the run. All teams should be familiar with fast roping prior to arrival!
