On behalf of the Southeastern Board of Directors I would like to take the time to explain a onetime special membership package.
For over one year now we have been working diligently putting together the Southeastern SWAT Association, with the help of our State Directors from the following States: SC, NC, TN, GA, AL, MS, FL and VA. In order to provide the Southeast with the following: training, buying power, association web site, annual conference, legal updates and news and much more!
With our economy still the driving force in all we do we have decided to offer the following for this years 2010 annual conference and Southeastern SWAT Competition:
The first twenty teams that join the Southeastern SWAT Association will have the entry fee for the 17th Annual SWAT Competition waived. Meaning they will receive both membership to the association and the 17th annual competition a 400 dollar value for half price! The only cost associated with the competition will be the Awards Banquet at the conclusion of the competition. After a number of years watching some of our past competitors surprising us with there dress for the awards banquet we have been persuaded to set a theme for the 17th annual banquet and this year the dress attire will be 1970’s Retro style with awards giving for best dressed! This will allow all of us to relax have fun and for some relive our youth!
Note: This year we will allow teams to combine and make one competition team as long as proof of Officer Certification is given prior to registration, this exception has been made for departments who can not allow the entire team to be away at one time!
